IATA records healthy global passenger demand to date

The International Air Transport Association has recently shown a 6.2 increase in revenue for distance travelled for the month of August when compared against the same period last year which shows a good start to the busiest season of the year. Across all areas an increase in passenger demand was seen with Asia Pacific topping the charts with a 9.4 percent boost, closely followed by Latin America (5.2 percent) and North America (5.0 percent).
